A nine year old and an SS3 candidate do not need the same teacher. The AI reads where

cog.ng is not a library of lessons with a chat box bolted to the side. The model is the product, and it
ships inside the app. Nearly everything your child sees was built for your child, from what they got
wrong last night, and it did not exist before then.

It writes the lesson for your child

Two children stuck on the same topic get two different lessons, because they are stuck for different reasons. The AI reads the actual working, finds the misunderstanding underneath it, and generates the explanation, the examples, the practice set and the video around that one misunderstanding.

It never runs out of material

A fixed question bank runs dry in a fortnight and children start memorising answers. This one generates fresh questions, fresh worked examples and fresh quests every session, all pinned to the syllabus and checked against a real answer key before your child sees them.

Part of it lives on the phone

The heavy work, the videos and new lessons, happens on our side and travels down with the pack. A smaller tutor is bundled into the app itself, so with no network at all it can still hint, still follow your working, still check a short answer. The app does not go dead when the bundle does.

A teacher still has the last word

Generated work is verified against the answer key, reviewed by a subject teacher, and labelled so you always know what the AI made. If a teacher corrects an explanation, the correction reaches every child using cog.ng.

Most schools in this country cannot run the WAEC practical. No burette, no bench, sometimes no power.
Children still sit the paper. So the AI builds the laboratory instead, apparatus by apparatus, and marks
the report against the WAEC practical marking scheme.

A lesson filmed for one child

Most of what your child watches on cog.ng did not exist until they needed it. The AI writes the script from
the topic they just failed, narrates it, and draws the working out on screen as it talks. Where a human on
camera genuinely matters, we film teachers instead.

A video about quadratic equations is not much use when the problem is that your child cannot factorise. The AI makes the one they actually need, in the time it takes to boil a kettle, and keeps it for the next child with the same gap.

Narrated in a language that lands

English, and where it helps, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo or pidgin. Not translated word for word. The explanation is rebuilt so it teaches in that language, then checked by a teacher who speaks it.

Talk to it, and read to it

Older students say an answer out loud and hear the working back. Younger ones read a passage aloud and get scored on accuracy, pace and expression, the way a teacher listening over their shoulder would.

No. cog.ng is grounded in the NERDC curriculum and real WAEC, NECO and JAMB past papers, so it cannot wander off the syllabus. It holds back the answer, tracks what each child has actually mastered, and every explanation is checked by a subject teacher before it reaches a student. A general chatbot does none of that, and it will happily give a confidently wrong worked solution.
The lessons, questions and worked solutions are downloaded over WiFi and stored on the phone. Your child can work for a week with no connection at all, and everything syncs the next time there is one. For schools with no internet, a small box on the teacher's desk serves the whole class over its own WiFi.
That is the failure we take most seriously, because a wrong worked solution teaches something false. Every generated explanation is verified against a real answer key and reviewed by a teacher before release, and anything cog.ng is not confident about goes to a human instead of guessing. Teachers can correct any explanation, and the correction reaches every school.
We are registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and built for minors' data from the start. Consent runs through you or the school, there is a full log of every interaction that you can read, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
We are running a measured pilot with High-water mark school in Akure this term. If the result holds up, we open to the waitlist ahead of the 2027 WAEC and JAMB season. If it does not, we will tell you that too.

The point is that the gaps which wreck an SS3 candidate are formed years earlier, quietly, in topics nobody noticed going wrong.
